Diet for Healthy Hair

I had mentioned in my yesterdays post about healthy diet for Healthy Hair. Today I will brief you in details about Healthy Diet for naturally growing your hair longer & stronger.

There are 5 essential contents in your diet which are important factor for Hair Growth.

  1. PROTEIN: Protein depletion results in narrow Thin Hair, Hair Breakage, Hair Thinning, Change in Texture, as protein cannot be utilized by body in their original form; they are broken in amino-acids which can be absorbed by the body. Source of Protein are Meat, Poultry, Fish, Egg, Legumes, Nuts, Milk & Milk Products, Flour & Cereals.


     

  2. Vitamins: Vitamins are complex molecules that play an important role in the well being of an individual and are required for normal functioning of body and hair. Deficiency of Vitamins result in dry hair that breaks of easily or corkscrew like curled hairs. Important Vitamins are A, B , C, E , K


     

  3. MINERALS: Minerals are the essential metal and non metal ions required for normal metabolism of body and hair as they play a role of catalyst in various metabolic reactions.
